Bentong

A recent unannounced and unplanned trip to Bentong got me a little surprised and a bit impressed with what I discovered. Apparently, this small slumber town isn't that small and quiet afterall. Its bubbly!

As we entered the town, we'll be greeted by this signage by the main road and a small stream. Plenty of people doing their normal chores and recreational activities there. Joggers, cyclists, walkers etc. Kinda nice looking at their less stressful life in the evening.

Prior to that we had explored the other side of Bentong. The route to Kelantan. Well, we discovered nice eating place for lemang (glutinous rice burnt in bamboo) with rendang ayam (chicken cooked with rich spicy coconut sauce). It was so delicious that Lemang To'Ki repeatable!

We then went to discover a lovely and untouched waterfall called Chamang Waterfall. It's great to know that there are still clean and cool river around still.

Finally, before ending our short trip to Bentong, I made a short trip to "uncover" the Bentong Golf Club. Well, it looks like a good course for 9-holes walking exercise. Perhaps someday I'll be there for a game.
