Let's hope its the beginning of good things to come

At My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi today, the Malaysian soccer team reached the final of the Suzuki Cup on a 2-0 aggregate against Vietnam.

The young boys have done well indeed. No one had expected them to go this far at the start of the tournament. Especially after the 5-1 drubbing at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta two weeks ago.

To coach Rajagopal and his boys, lets hope this is the beginning of good things to come for Malaysian soccer. Bring back the glory boys!

Its been sometime...

Wow! My last posting was back in April. That was quite a long time ago. Many things happened. Good and not so good. For better or for worse. Thats life I guess. There are times we are up there. There are times when we are down there. Being down... one can only go up. And up... And up... Once up there, one needs hard work and guts to stay up. Nevertheless, life ain't a bed of rose.

Whatever it is, one just have to keep moving. The journey ain't perfect. Hope for the best and expect the worst.

Barca Knocked Out!

The best beautiful football team has been knocked out!

Yes... FC Barcelona was beaten 2-3 on aggregate by Inter Milan in the Champions League semi final early this morning. Its painful to see them out. But thats football. Beautiful football doesn't guarantee a win. At the end of the day, tactical football prevails!

Ask Tele Santana and his 1982 Brazil World Cup team after they lost 2-3 to Italy.

So, its The Special One's platoon who will troop out of Bernabéu Stadium on May 22, 2010 against Bayern Munich.

Is It That Bad???

Parking in KL has always been a challenged. Regardless where, we always find it a daunting task to get a parking bay for our vehicle. Double parking is common. Parking on a yellow line is not rare. Just name it. We have it all!

Perhaps Malaysians drivers felt that the open space parking charges are exorbitantly high. Perhaps they are just stingy lots. Perhaps they are just lazy to park their vehicles at the rightful parking area and walk a bit to their place of business. Perhaps they love to get parking tickets for their traffic offenses.

But one thing common is they pissed the well behaved drivers.

Do we have to embarrass ourselves this way? Emmm...
