HAPPY NEW YEAR
Goodbye 2011... Welcome 2012!
Like the blink of the eye, it has now come to the final day of 2011. So much has happened and yet so little reward. Lets move on and look forward to a better 2012.
Insyaallah...

My 1st Eagle
Wow! What a way to end 2011... I had my 1st EAGLE! It was at the par 4 hole 7 Southern course Staffield in Mantin. After a safe 200m drive, the ball landed at the 90m mark downhill as I had planned. I took my PING Sand iron and hit it the ball crisp and perfect. It landed nicely about 10 feet above the hole and saw it roll down and disappeared into the hole. EAGLE!
My 1st eagle has landed! and as Pak Lan puts it... it may be the 1st and last eagle he'll ever see LIVE while playing. I want to believe him... ;)

Passing of a friend
It was indeed a sad morning today. At about 9am we received a call to inform us that one of our golfing friends - Ir. Zainudin Omar better known as CheDin (red arrow), has passed away @ Columbia Hospital Bandar Tun Hussein Onn. Unconfirmed report says he died of a heart attack.
Just last week he suffered a heart burnt during a golf game @ Meru Valley in Ipoh. The picture and reports that were sent to my Blackberry shows that its a serious thing. In fact, last Saturday I had told a friend that CheDin's predicament looks serious. Perhaps its a time bomb waiting to explode.
And this morning he left us in shocked!
I had known him for just a short period. The Medan golf trip many moons ago was the closest I had been with him. He looks ok. Slim and healthy. However, when its time... its time!
God loves him more. And reminds us that life is short and sudden.
RIP CheDin! Al-Fatihah
